Medical Marijuana

Medical Marijuana

Since January of 2017 residents of Florida are able to receive a recommendation from their physician for medical marijuana, for the treatment of qualifying medical conditions. After carefully reviewing the research, and the potential benefits to certain qualifying patients, Dr. Harish Sadhwani became the first physician in our area to recommend medical marijuana to qualifying patients. We are proud to offer qualified patients the state-required recommendation to complete this process. Our board-certified physicians will evaluate your health to determine if you may benefit from a medical marijuana recommendation, and our helpful staff will guide you through every step of the process.

Here are a few important considerations regarding the cost, and process, of obtaining your medical marijuana recommendation:

  • You must have at least one qualifying condition to be eligible for a medical marijuana recommendation (Qualifying conditions are listed below)
  • You must have a valid Florida ID, and an active e-mail address to complete this process.
  • Your initial visit will cost $200
  • Follow-up visits will cost $100
  • Follow-up visits are every 70 days to maintain your recommendation
  • There is a $75 annual fee paid to the state of Florida for your Medical Marijuana card
