What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal filler injections can restore volume and smooth lines that were lost through aging and sun damage. They repair and soften creases and enhance facial contours. Dermal fillers typically contain a form of hyaluronic acid (HA) or a collagen stimulator.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in the skin that assists in adding hydration and volume. Once HA is injected, it can add to the natural plumping action, or replenish your body’s natural production of hyaluronic acid, which diminishes as you age. Collagen is the main structural protein in our skin. Collagen is what helps our skin to feel, and look, tight and youthful. As we age, the production of collagen slows, causing skin to sag. Fillers containing collagen help to promote the body’s process of producing collagen and promoting growth, for a much more vibrant and refreshed appearance.

Restylane® Defyne contains hyaluronic acid, and can help restore a more youthful, natural-looking appearance, while helping you maintain your natural expressions. As we age, our skin loses elasticity and the lines that run from the sides of the nose toward the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds), and the lines that run from the corners of your mouth toward the chin (marionette lines), become more pronounced. Restylane Defyne is crafted with XpresHAn Technology to correct these deepened lines. The unique cross-linking of the gel in Restylane Defyne is also designed to help support your facial expressions—for natural-looking results that help maintain your natural movement.
Restylane® Defyne is designed specifically for the movement of lips, Restylane Kysse is made with XpresHAn Technology’s innovative cross-linking gel for precise, natural-looking results. Lips lose volume, color, and elasticity with age. Restylane Kysse is a lip filler that adds volume, smooths upper lip lines, and enhances lip color.

Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks, midface area, and the back of the hands.
To Minimize the “Ouch” of Injections we:
- Numb the treatment area with a topical anesthetic.
- Apply ice prior to and after your procedure.
- Provide pre-treatment education.
Though fillers are considered safe, there are a few reasons to postpone an injection. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, experiencing an infection in the treatment area, battling a sinus infection, or have a dental treatment scheduled closely following, you should reschedule your appointment.
What are wrinkle relaxers?
Wrinkle relaxers enhance and revitalize the appearance of your skin. When injected, they relax the muscles, prevent skin from creasing and causing wrinkles, and give you a younger appearance. We offer three types of injectable wrinkle relaxers: Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin.
Botox®
Botox smooths lines in the forehead, between the eyebrows, and in the crow’s feet area. During your treatment, our specialist will inject very small amounts of Botox directly into the muscles beneath your facial skin. This temporarily relaxes the muscles, smoothing the lines created by muscle contraction in that area of the face. A single treatment can last approximately 3 months, and results will vary from patient to patient. Side effects are usually temporary and mild.
Dysport®
Dysport is FDA-approved for treating frown lines between the eyes, crow’s feet, and forehead lines. Dysport contains small molecules, which leads to faster results. You may notice facial changes in as little as three days with Dysport. Results typically last for 3 months.
Xeomin®
Xeomin is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). Frown lines form when facial expressions are made as the muscle under the skin contracts. Over time, as your skin ages, these repeated expressions cause lasting frown lines.
Benefits of Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments:
- Reduces frown lines, wrinkles, fine lines, and other noticeable signs of aging
- It can also effectively reduce underarm sweating, migraines, TMJ pain and more
- It is a non-surgical procedure that takes only about 15-25 minutes to complete
- Discomfort is typically very minimal, and no downtime is required
- Results typically last up to 3-5 months
How is the Treatment Procedure Done?
A fine needle is injected into each specific muscle for a few seconds with only the minor discomfort of a tiny pinch. We apply topical anesthetic cream or ice prior to the treatment to minimize discomfort and redness.
Who Should Not Get the Treatment?
- Those who have a history of being allergic or hypersensitive to Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin.
- Those who have an infection at the treatment area.
- Those who are pregnant or nursing.
- Patients with muscle or nerve conditions such as but not limited to ALS, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome should also be cautious.
