Nutrition is the number one key to health. I recommend focusing on eating whole, unprocessed foods while avoiding grains and sugars, which are precursors to disease. Stay away from grains to help lower your insulin.You need to consume good proteins such as organic pastured eggs, grass fed organic meats, Poultry and fish. A recommendation would be one gram of protein per pound of lean body mass. This normally translates to at least 60-70 grams of protein a day. When it comes to eating fruits eat them moderately, many fruits contain fructose. Try to replace tropical fruits with berries. Eat organic vegetables and dark leafy greens. Stay away with rooted vegetables such as potatoes and carrots, they have a much higher glycemic load. Try to get your healthy fats from coconut and grape seed oil.
