Grass Fed vs Grain Fed

Most cattle today is fed grain instead of grass fed.The nutrients in the beef we eat can vary due to what the cattle consumes.Cattle that are grass fed go through much more natural process than grain fed. Grass fed cattle continue to eat grass and live on grassland. Grain fed are rapidly fattened up with based feeds that are normally made with corn or soy. Grain are also given antibiotics and hormones to grow faster and survive harsh living environment. The difference in fatty acid is major as well. Grass fed beef contains five times as much omega 3 than grain fed. Grass fed beef also contains twice as much CLA (lionoleic acid) than grain. CLA and omega 3 are very beneficial towards health. Grass fed beef is a much better choice than grain.
